Iveco TT Assen Grand Prix 29th June 2013
This season, the Iveco TT Assen Grand Prix was unforgettable because it revealed heroes and also talents
Jorge Lorenzo had an accident during free practices on Thursday and was seriously injured: a fracture of collarbone. He left Assen on Thurday to go back to Barcelona where he had an operation during the night. Lot of people thought that he won’t race on Saturday, but he came back to Assen on Friday after a successful operation. Despite the pain and the “fresh operation”, Jorge Lorenzo as we know as a person with a strong mental, was on track on Saturday and scored a 5th position.
Also we can’t speak about this GP without mentioning the victory of “The Doctor”.
Valentino Rossi hasn’t won since 2010. He proved to e
verybody that he has always been here and he just needed some time to find goods set up on the bike.
This weekend was also a revelation of one pilot: Dominique Aegerter, pilot in Moto 2 of the team Technomag Carxpert. It was his second victory in his career (first was in Valencia in 2011). With this 3rd place, the Swiss pilot, scored 77 points in the Moto 2 classification and he is 5th in the championship for the moment.
As he already told us in the interview made in March 2013 (you can find it on the website ) he wanted to be in the top 5 this season. And he made it better! He is doing good results this season and we might think about this: Dominique Aegerter in MotoGP category in 2015 or 2016? Who knows…
